Ms. Acharjee is trained in the research fields of molecular biology, structural biology & cryo-EM analysis along with exposure in epidemiological studies and research in cancer screening projects. She has been instrumental in identifying rapid detection techniques for malarial strains and their modes of recovery. Her expertise lies in both wet and dry lab techniques as well as in silico platforms for Biostatistics, MD simulations, Image analysis and other bioinformatics tools. Her interest and focus currently is on infectious disease and its nodal treatment studies along with their epidemiological effects to alleviate present scenarios in public health domain. Besides being a research scientist, Ms. Acharjee is also the Administrator of I3TK.
