Dr. Nazmun Lyle has been working for 16 years in the area of Neurobiology. She has earned Ph. D. from the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (I. P. G. M. E. & R.), Kolkata.  She has 8+ years post doctoral experiences. 

Specialization and Research Interests:

1. Her research interest is on the area of Neurophysiology especially to understand the molecular mechanisms / pathways involved in the stress induced pathophysiology. She has further explored the molecular mechanism of stress induced neuropathology with a view to search natural products as promising drug candidates using animal experimental models.
2. She has experience in the fields of ageing and stress-induced initiation and progression of  neurodegeneration using mammalian cell systems and animal models to understand the effective diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.
3. Human Molecular Genetics.
4. Epidemiology.
